Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 8, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Sevorix website, the Sevorix Lite command-line interface, Sevorix Pro, Sevorix Enterprise, or any related software, dashboards, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services. If you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to it.
2. The Services and Licensing
Sevorix provides software that intercepts, evaluates, and enforces policy against actions taken by AI agents at the operating system level, including shell commands, network requests, and system calls.
Our commercial offerings — including the Enterprise AI Runtime Firewall, proprietary binaries, hosted dashboards, documentation, and premium kernel-layer features (collectively, the "Commercial Software") — are proprietary products protected by intellectual property laws and are subject to separate commercial license agreements.
Separately, we maintain a community edition of our software (the "LITE Version") hosted on public repositories, including GitHub. The LITE Version is distributed strictly under the terms of the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 ("AGPL-3.0").
Nothing in these Terms, your use of the Commercial Software, or your interaction with our website grants you any rights to, modifications of, or access to our source code under the AGPL-3.0, unless you are explicitly interacting with the unmodified, community-vetted LITE Version via its designated GitHub repository. The licensing terms of the LITE Version do not extend to, alter, or govern the proprietary nature of the Commercial Software.
3. No Guarantee of Outcome
Sevorix is a security tool designed to reduce risk. It is not a guarantee against all forms of malicious action, misconfiguration, or agent failure, and it is not a substitute for your own security program, human oversight, or legal or compliance advice. You are solely responsible for the policies, permissions, and enforcement rules you configure, and for the consequences of that configuration.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Services not licensed to you under AGPL-3.0;
- Use the Services to build, test, or facilitate an autonomous agent designed to cause unauthorized harm to a third party's systems or data;
- Attempt to circumvent or disable the Services' enforcement mechanisms in a production environment without your own prior written authorization and testing plan;
- Use the Services in violation of any applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property
Except for the AGPL-3.0-licensed source code of the LITE Version, all right, title, and interest in the Services — including software, algorithms, documentation, and trademarks — are and remain the exclusive property of Sevorix Inc. Your own data, configurations, and policy sets remain your property. No license is granted except as expressly set out in these Terms or a separate written agreement.
6. Fees and Subscriptions
Sevorix Pro and Sevorix Enterprise are offered on a subscription basis. Fees, billing intervals, and any trial terms are as stated at the time of purchase. Except where required by law or separately agreed in writing, fees are non-refundable.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SEVORIX DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THEY WILL DETECT OR PREVENT EVERY UNAUTHORIZED OR MALICIOUS ACTION.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SEVORIX INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. FOR SEVORIX LITE AND SEVORIX PRO, SEVORIX INC.'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES YOU HAVE PAID TO SEVORIX FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, UP TO A MAXIMUM OF TWELVE U.S. DOLLARS (US$12). FOR SEVORIX ENTERPRISE, LIABILITY IS LIMITED AS SET OUT IN THE APPLICABLE ORDER FORM.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sevorix Inc. from claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services in violation of these Terms or applicable law, or from the policies and permissions you configure.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms and do not cure that breach within a reasonable period after notice, or immediately if your use poses a security risk to Sevorix or other users. You may stop using the Services, or cancel a subscription, at any time in accordance with its cancellation terms.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date and, where required by law, additional notice. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be seated in King County, Washington, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, each party waives any right to a jury trial and any right to bring or participate in a class or representative action. Either party may still bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain in full force.
